Hi, my name is Felix Mak and I am a web developer, graphic designer and also a Dad.
This web log (or blog) is for those people who don’t have that certain friend who knows all about the technology, and can explain all the ‘ins and outs’ to them. I hope to be that ‘technophile’ for you. A lot of people have one of these guys (or girls) that they can call on. I am ‘the tech guy’ for most all my family and many of my friends. I have gotten calls while I am overseas about AV cables, gotten calls from overseas about how to set up emails and even gotten a call for a monitor not being plugged in!
The thing is… I too have a ‘tech guy’ that I call. I am not kidding when I say that he also has a ‘tech guy’. The chain might end there, or they call each other. I am not sure. Suffice to say, my ‘tech guy’s’ ‘tech guy’ doesn’t ever call me for advice.
I will be posting articles explaining certain technologies, about devices and even services that hopefully will be informative and entertaining. I will be posting a bit about Apple products as I use them and I will also talk about sites that parents might be interested in.
Who knows? You might even find a post or two useful!
